A bicyclist was hit and injured by a car at the Hayarkonim Junction near Petah Tikvah on Monday morning, Magen David Adom said.

The rider was being treated by paramedics on the scene for critical injuries, while the driver of the car was treated for light injuries.

Further details about the two people involved in the accident, along with the cause of the incident, were unavailable.
