Body found near Sea of Galilee highway in suspected murder

A woman in her 20's was found dead next to Highway 90 near the town of Migdal on the Sea of Galilee on Tuesday. The body was found lifeless with signs of trauma; police suspect homicide.

Magen David Adom teams were first on the scene at 7:19 a.m. and found the women with no sign of life.

"MDA teams arrived at the scene following a report of a young 20-year-old girl who was lifeless, we established her death at the location," the MDA said in a statement.

The investigation is being handled by the Northern District Police. A gag order was placed on the investigation and identity of the deceased in the Nazareth Magistrates Court on Tuesday
