The lifeless body of a three-year-old boy was pulled from the rubble of a construction site in the Galilee village of Arab a-Naim on Friday.

The boy’s parents notified police of the boy’s disappearance shortly before the gruesome discovery. A Magen David Adom medical crew pronounced the boy dead at the site.

Police have launched a criminal investigation into the incident. The initial findings of the probe indicate that the boy was caught underneath a pile of rocks and dust that was unloaded at the site by a truck.
