A large contingency of security forces were deployed Sunday afternoon near Beersheba in the Negev region in light of an unspecified security situation, police reported.

Police and firefighting units have erected road blocks, however no special instructions have been issued for residents in the area. However, police advised residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious persons or objects.
