MAKHACHKALA - A suicide bomber killed one police officer in the capital of Russia's violence-plagued Dagestan region in the North Caucasus on Tuesday, an official said.The bomber detonated explosives strapped to his body when police tried to stop him at an intersection to check his documents, the official said on condition of anonymity.
