Border Patrol officers patrolling next to the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron shot and killed a Palestinian man after he pulled a fake gun on them, National Police Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said Wednesday evening. Rosenfeld said that the Border Patrol is carrying out an investigation into the incident, which was reportedly followed by violent protests by Palestinian locals. He could not confirm reports that the officer who shot the man was a female Border Patrol fighter.
