Border police arrested a Palestinian man near a checkpoint in Kalkilya in the West Bank on Monday evening after he pulled out a knife on them.

Police noticed a suspicious man at the checkpoint and called on him to stop. He did not heed their calls and instead pulled out a knife. After a brief scuffle, the man eventually was arrested and taken into custody.

After an investigation, police discovered the man was a Palestinian in his twenties from Kalkilya.
