Border police find 120 kilograms of narcotics in crashed car

A vehicle which struck a bus stop in the Arava desert region north of Eilat was found to be carrying 120 kilograms of narcotics on Monday
morning.

Security officials called to the bus stop found that a car had rammed into the bus stop, and that there were no drivers or passengers who
remained with the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

"Eight sacks of hashish and heroin weighing 120 kilograms were seized," Border Police said in a statement. "The drugs have been transferred to Eilat Police," the statement added.
