Border policemen wounded in Shuafat refugee camp stabbing

A Palestinian protester stabbed a Border Police Officer during a stone-throwing altercation at the Shuafat refugee camp on Tuesday, police reported.

The border policeman, that was stabbed in the back, was lightly wounded. He was evacuated to hospital for further medical treatment.

Stones thrown by protesters lightly wounded eight other border policemen, that were also evacuated to hospital.

Police arrested the 17 year-old stabber and one other man suspected of disturbing the peace.
