Boy, 10, crushed to death by elevator in Abu Ghosh

A ten-year-old boy from east Jerusalem was killed in the village of Abu Ghosh when an elevator fell on him on Sunday night.
The accident occurred in a bakery, and the elevator was bringing pitas from the first floor to the second floor.
Police said that the father brought his son to work. It was unclear if the boy was playing with the buttons or the elevator had a malfunction and crushed him to death. Police have opened an investigation into the matter.
