Britain seeks to bolster ties with Turkey

LONDON — British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Thursday held talks with his Turkish counterpart on promoting peace in the Middle East.

Hague and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu first met at London's Foreign Office. Britain's new government has pledged to improve ties with Ankara.
