British PM May to meet with Turkey's Erdogan and Yıldırım

British Prime Minister Theresa May is set to arrive at Ankara later on Saturday in order to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and with Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım. This is slated to be May's first visit to Turkey since she came into office, and according to different reports she intends to renew Britain's commerce ties with Turkey prior to Britain's expected departure from the EU.

Reports quote May's spokesperson as saying that the British prime minister also hopes to discuss the strengthening of the existing cooperation between the UK and Turkey in different security affairs.
