Professor Nicholas Burns on Thursday morning called for a more aggressive approach against Iran. Burns served  as the US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs until 2008.

Speaking to Army Radio, Burns said that countries must
oppose Iran's nuclear ambitions act more harshly, and urged sanctions against the central bank.

He also stressed the importance of keeping
the military option on the table.

A recent report by the International Atomic Energy Agency has led to a new round of Western sanctions against the Iranian regime in an attempt to prevent the development of Iranian nuclear capabilities.
