The cabinet on Sunday approved a program to give free dental care to children up to age 10, according to an official statement.
The decision expands a previous cabinet decision to provide free dental care in the health services basket to children up to age 8.
According to information presented by Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, in the past nine months, some 1.2 million treatments were given to nearly 200,000 children.
