After more than a month of sanctions by technicians at the Israel Broadcasting Authority, the crisis came to a halt late on Wednesday when an accommodation was reached between management and workers' representatives.

During the sanctions, news and talk show anchors of Israel Radio and Channel One could not receive telephone calls on air, nor were there any satellite telecasts on Channel One.
