Hagai Hadas, who heads the Gilad Schalit dossier for the Prime Minister's Office, briefed on Thursday the father of the missing soldier, Noam Schalit. According to Schalit, who spoke with Channel 10, the meeting was "optimistic," and gave off an impression that progress had been made. Channel 10 reported that disagreements between Hamas and Israel still exist, but based on the latest developments, negotiations had definitely taken a step forward.
