Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is extremely satisfied with US President Barack Obama's speech at the UN General Assembly and says that the US has lifted its demands for a complete settlement freeze as a condition for a resumption of peace talks, Channel 10 reported Wednesday. A top official also told the television channel that Israel had got the impression that the US was readying massive sanctions on Iran, since it was convinced that the chances of fruitful dialogue were slim.
