1,200 residents of the West Bank took to the streets of Tulkarem on Friday afternoon and clashed with IDF forces.

The protestors were endangering workers in the city's industrial zone, according to an IDF spokeswoman, who added that they hurled rocks and firebombs at IDF forces.

In the army's response, a Palestinian protestor was killed and several others wounded. The army said it has launched an investigation into the incident.
