Security forces arrested two youths from Beit Laki on June 26, 2015 for the murder of David Bar Kafra.

On June 24, 2015,  70-year-old David Bar Kafra of Rehovot, was attacked and beaten with a blunt object while working in a field at Moshav Pedaya. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he later died of his wounds.

The youths are known to have participated in terrorist activities and were working in Kafra's fields illegally.
