A Code Red rocket alert siren sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council area on Monday morning. The IDF was checking whether a rocket was fired from Gaza into southern Israel. The warning siren came after an escalation of hostilities last week saw some 70 rockets fired from Gaza into southern Israel.
