Cohen: Ahuva was personal example to entire police force

Police Insp.-Gen. David Cohen said Tuesday that "the Carmel tragedy was one of the hardest incidents I have dealt with while in my position."
In an interview on Tuesday with Army Radio, Cohen said, "On the one hand it was very difficult to process such a great loss, but on the other hand I came out of the tragedy with a great sense of pride at the ability of the police to deal with incidents such as this."
Cohen also talked of Dep.-Cmdr. Ahuva Tomer who died tragically in the Carmel fire after rushing into the flames to find out the condition of the dozens of Prisons Service cadets trapped in the deadly blaze.
"Ahuva was a personal example to the entire police force in Israel," he told Army Radio.
