Nazareth Magistrate's Court extended the remand in custody of the 22-year-old woman who was the alleged accomplice of Adwan Yihya Farhan in two of the four murders he is suspected of, her lawyer, Issam Tannous said Wednesday. At Tannous' request, the court agreed to make a psychiatric evaluation of the woman, which, he told The Jerusalem Post, would take place in about 10 days. According to Tannous, his client has been in jail since April 28, after letting the police know that she was involved in the murder of 18-year-old Dana Bennet. She had confided in a friend who, at her request, went to the police to tell them that Farhan had killed Bennet and that she had been his accomplice. The media is prohibited from publishing the woman's name because she was a minor at the time of Bennet's killing on August 1, 2003.
