Businessman and philanthropist Dan David, who passed away on Tuesday in London will be laid to rest in Kraf Shmaryahu on Friday, Israel Radio reported. He was 82 years old.

Born in Romania, David immigrated to Israel fifty years ago, according to the report.

He was a pioneer in the development of automated photo systems, and donated much of his wealth to educational institutions, opening scholarship funds for various disciplines, the report said.
