UN Ambassador Danny Danon said Wednesday night that the UN must unequivocally condemn the deadly Palestinian terror, following a shooting spree in Tel Aviv's Sarona complex, in which three Israelis were killed and many more injured.

"The terror attack is the sad proof that, as long as the UN abstains from condeming terrorism against Israelis, it is only a matter of time until the next one strikes," Danon said. "Terror attacks in Tel Aviv must get the same recognition as those in in Paris or Istanbul."

The ambassador called on the UN Security Council and Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to immediately condemn the deadly Tel Aviv shooting spree, and demand from Palestinian leadership to put an end to hateful propaganda which incites its people against Israel.

Danon expressed his condolences to families of the victims, and wished a fast-recovery to those injured,

"The nation of Israel stands besides you in this tough time, you pain is all our pain," he said.
