Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon (Likud) reacted to the stabbing of an Israeli police officer on Monday, saying that, "In a normal country, when a bus blows up on Sunday and a police officer is stabbed on Monday, you don't release terrorists as a 'gesture' the next week."

He also added that the events of the last few days show that terrorists are trying to make a return to the daily lives of Israeli citizens.
