Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon on Tuesday pressed the United Nations Security Council to designated Hezbollah as a terrorist organization following a Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) announcement that it uncovered a West Bank cell belonging to the Lebanese terror group.

“Hezbollah, a proxy of Iran, has not ceased its active aggression against Israel and is endangering stability throughout the Middle East,” said Danon, calling for international condemnation of Hezbollah attempts to harms Israeli civilians.

“The terrorists must know that they will pay a heavy price for any aggression against our citizens,” he added.
