Yesha Council chairman Dani Dayan Tuesday said in reaction to the expected direct negotiations with the Palestinians that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu must call an end to the settlement construction freeze and not surrender to blackmail threats made by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and PA negotiator Saeb Erekat on the subject.

"The Prime Minister has announced on more than one occasion that the the settlement freeze was only temporary and building will resume on September 26 in Ariel, Efrat, Beitar Illit, Kiryat Arba, Ma'ale Adumim and Beit El," Dayan stated.
