Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz appointed on Friday Colonel Yair Kulas as the military secretary to the minister of defense.

Colonel Kulas will be promoted to brigadier general, and will replace Brig.-Gen. Itzik Turjman.
