Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely delivered a healthy baby girl Sunday morning at Assaf HaRofeh Medical Hospital in the Tel Aviv suburub of Rishon LeZion.

The daughter is the second child of Hotovely and her husband, attorney Or Alon. Their first daughter, Maayan,  is two years old.

The couple attended a Passover Seder at her parents' home in Rehovot on Friday night and went to the hospital on Saturday night.

Alon went to a synagogue Sunday morning where he named the baby Eliraz, Hebrew for "my God is an enigma."
