Diamond-mining tycoon Beny Steinmetz was identified as the billionaire Israeli businessman whom police detained Monday in relation to suspected corruption and bribery in the African nation of Guinea. Steinmetz's name was revealed after a gag order on his identity was lifted. He was due to appear in court later on Monday for a remand hearing.
