A police officer was stabbed and lightly wounded by a man in his 80s on Tuesday after responding to a domestic violence call in Dimona. Two officers were dispatched to the address, and proceeded to arrest an elderly man on suspicion of beating his wife. The elderly man then grabbed a kitchen a knife and stabbed one of the officers. The officer was taken to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba for treatment. "Despite the suspect's age, he has been arrested and will appear before a judge," a Negev police spokesman told the Jerusalem Post.
