BRUSSELS - The next round of talks between six major powers and Iran on Tehran's contentious nuclear program is now more likely to take place in February, rather than in January, a European diplomat said on Friday.

European Union diplomats and Iranian officials have been holding discussions on arranging a new round of talks but EU officials say Iran has been stalling on fixing a date and location.

"It seems more likely now that the next round will take place in February," the diplomat, speaking on condition of anonymity, said.
