Just as demonstrations against the detainment of a woman suspected of starving her child began to wane, protests against the opening of the Carta parking lot near the Old City on Saturdays have picked up again, with dozens of haredi demonstrators reportedly causing disruptions at the entrance to the facility on Saturday afternoon. One haredi man was arrested during the disturbances after he laid on the street and refused to get up.
