Dror Alperon, the eldest son of murdered criminal Ya'acov Alperon, was arrested Tuesday at Ben Gurion Airport upon his return from a police-approved vacation in Thailand with his girlfriend. Dror, who left the country after serving a nine-month prison sentence on charges of extortion, was arrested again on similar charges after police uncovered his alleged involvement in criminal activities committed by his relatives. Dror's brother Elad and another family member were recently indicted with scamming and threatening men who had borrowed money from the crime family, namely young men who were involved in Internet gambling. Dror Alperon will be brought to court Tuesday afternoon for a remand hearing.
