Druse, Circassian protesters clash with police in Jerusalem

Hundreds of Israeli Druse and Circassians demonstrated outside the prime minister's office in Jerusalem on Sunday morning and clashed with police forces. Police arrested three protesters after several people tried to break into the compound. The demonstrators were protesting what they called discriminatory funding of local authorities in their towns and villages, and hurled bottles and hard-boiled eggs at police. According to Israel Radio, two policemen and one demonstrator were lightly wounded in the clashes.
