A 26-year-old resident of east Jerusalem was arrested Wednesday after he was caught driving at a speed of 214 kilometers per hour on Route 1 near Mishor Adumim.

The man's license will be suspended for 30 days.

He was initially apologetic for his actions, but later become uncooperative with police as he was taken into custody.
