Egyptian intelligence delegation to speak with Hamas on Friday - report

A delegation of Egyptian intelligence officials is reportedly coming to the Gaza Strip on Friday to discuss the truce with Israel with Hamas leadership, according to Ynet.

The delegation is expected to arrive before the start of the weekly demonstrations on the fence on Friday. They reportedly fear that Hamas is not respecting its commitment to curb the demonstrations following a change in the outline of the Qatari grant.

The timing of the delegation's arrival may be key to restraining the demonstrations.
