Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has raised the minimum wage to 2,000 Egyptian pounds ($115.74) a month from 1,200, he said at an event on Saturday celebrating women.
He indicated the raise would apply to all Egyptian workers. ($1 = 17.2800 Egyptian pounds).
