An elderly woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run in the port city of Ashdod, on Martin Buber street. Magen David Adom provided medical care to the 76-year-old woman, who had severe trauma to the head. She was pronounced dead shortly after. The motorist who hit the woman was arrested after shortly fleeing the scene.
