Deputy Foreign Minister Zeev Elkin on Thursday said Russia understands Israel's security concern in light of Iran's disputed nuclear ambitions.

Following Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin Wednesday in the Kremlim, Elkin told Army Radio that Moscow and Jerusalem sometimes have "tactical disagreements, but Russia also does not want a nuclear Iran".
