Communications Minister Gilad Erdan called for Israel to annex Area C of the West Bank in response to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's decision to form a unity government with Hamas.

The Likud minister , a member of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's security cabinet , told Army Radio, "I suggest we begin to prepare to annex Area C.
