The Knesset on Monday formally approved Gilad Erdan's nomination as a minister in the Netanyahu administration. Erdan will assume overall responsibility for the Public Security Ministry. In addition, he will have ministerial authority over the government's response to the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
