Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan said at any time he could make a surprise visit to the Gaza Strip, Turkish daily Hurriyet reported Tuesday.

The Turkish premier has announced his intention to visit the enclave multiple times over the past several years, though the trip so-far has not manifested.

In early June, Erdogan said he would visit the Hamas-run Strip later in the month.
