Palestinian peace requirements remain the same no matter what the nature of the next coalition might be, chief negotiator Saeb Erakat said on Monday, according to the official Palestinian Authority news agency WAFA.
According to WAFA, during meetings with the Middle East Quartet envoy Tony Blair and French Consul General Frederic Dasagnius in Jericho, Erakat stated that freezing settlement activity including east Jerusalem and
releasing Palestinian prisoners detained before 1994 are core issues in any future peace talks with Israel.
