European Parliament President Martin Schulz will speak in the Knesset's plenum next week.

On Monday, the Knesset House Committee is expected to authorize the speech, which will be given in German on February 11 or 12.

Schulz will be joined by a six-man EU entourage, including EU Ambassador to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen and several advisers, as well as members of the German press.

This will not be the first time a European Parliament President addresses the Knesset. IN 2011, Jerzy Buzek did so in his native Polish.
