Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said Wednesday evening that Israel did everything it could to advance a peace deal but that the ball was now in the Palestinians' hands. Liberman was speaking at a gathering of Yisrael Beytenu supporters in Jerusalem. The foreign minister said that Israel proved that it was ready to reach a final-status agreement with the Palestinians. 'As much as Israel wanted to reach a deal, it's not happening,' he said. Liberman blasted Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas for wanting a future Palestinian state to be 'Judenrein.'
