The father of a three month old babyfrom the village of Musmus that died on Wednesday after it was leftin a car for eight hours was released on house arrest, CoastalDistrict Police announced on Thursday.
The father will spend the next fivedays in house arrest while police present the evidence against him toprosecutors, who are expected to issue an indictment for negligence.
The father had forgotten the baby inhis car from 8:00 a.m. to around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and by the time he foundthe baby it was already without a pulse.
Also on Thursday, a father from KfarMalal in the Sharon ran over his 3 month-old-baby outside the familyhome, seriously wounding the baby, which is now hospitalized inserious condition. The National Traffic Police said that the fatherwas driving forward in his car when the accident happen. they arestill examining what caused the wreck but don't suspect foul play.
