The father of a three month old baby from the village of Musmus that died on Wednesday after it was left in a car for eight hours was released on house arrest, Coastal District Police announced on Thursday. The father will spend the next five days in house arrest while police present the evidence against him to prosecutors, who are expected to issue an indictment for negligence. The father had forgotten the baby in his car from 8:00 a.m. to around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and by the time he found the baby it was already without a pulse. Also on Thursday, a father from Kfar Malal in the Sharon ran over his 3 month-old-baby outside the family home, seriously wounding the baby, which is now hospitalized in serious condition. The National Traffic Police said that the father was driving forward in his car when the accident happen. they are still examining what caused the wreck but don't suspect foul play.
