Father ordered to pay NIS 1.6m in damages for rape, child abuse

A father who was convicted of rape and child abuse in 1997 was ordered on Tuesday to pay NIS 1,610,000 to his ex-wife and two daughters. A family court judge also ruled that the man, who has served 14 years in jail, must pay NIS 15,000 in legal fees.
