Female terrorist subdued in West Bank settlement

A female terrorist was subdued Saturday morning in the West Bank settlement of Almon after attempting to stab the security guard on duty.

According to initial reports, the culprit arrived at the entrance gate to the community early morning.

The guard on duty approached the woman in order to question and ask for identification. Upon approach, the woman drew a knife and attempted to stab the guard.

The guard opened fire in self defense and struck his assailant. She remains in moderate condition.

The security guard was not hurt in the incident.

Security forces are at the scene.
