A wildfire broke out Sunday in the western part of the central Israeli community of Rishpon, located some 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Tel Aviv.

Emergency crews were at the scene working to control the blaze as the country faced a sixth consecutive day of raging fires caused by dry conditions and suspected arsonists.

The cause of the fire in the open area of Rishpon was not initially known.
